Folded Cards

Among the more common uses of Folded Cards are Greeting Cards, Announcements, and Invitations. These can be printed in black and white or full color and with the options for UV Coating and matching envelopes.

Helpful Specifications

For folded cards you can select from the following finish sizes:

  • 5 1/2 x 4 ¼ - fits an A2 size envelope
  • 6 1/4 x 4 ½ - fits an A6 size envelope
  • 7 x 5 – fits an A7 size envelope
  • 7 7/8 x 5 ¼ - fits an A8 size envelope
  • 8 1/2 x 5 ½ - fits an A9 size envelope
  • 9 x 4 – fits a standard #10 envelope

You may select from the following papers:

  • 65# White Uncoated Cover
  • 80# White Uncoated Cover
  • 80# White Matte Coated Cover
  • 80# White Gloss Coated Cover
  • 100# White Matte Coated Cover
  • 100# White Gloss Coated Cover

Artwork with bleed will need a 1/8” (.125”) bleed on all sides.

For a standard folded card printed on one side, create a single PDF with one page.
For a standard folded card printed both sides, create a single PDF with two pages (both front and back artwork in a single PDF).

For speed and consistency in producing your print job, we prefer high-resolution PDF files to native application files. Refer to the Files Specifications page for more file preparation information.

Document sizes are given as width (horizontal) by height (vertical). 8 ½ x 11 would be a standard letter size page in portrait orientation.
