The Pantone Matching System is a color reproduction standard in which colors are each identified by a unique number. Graphic designers can design using these color numbers and it allows your print job to be matched to those colors. For digital jobs you will want to select "Color Matching" to request the extra step of matching to your Pantone color. Digital matching is not always 100% possible, but very close. You may also want to request a "Hard Proof (digitally printed, no finishing)" the first time you order a product.
The press-ready PDF proof that is uploaded for your review and approval is your last and best opportunity for you to check the layout, bleeds, crops and final text. Pay special attention to names, addresses, phone numbers and email addresses, as our brains can automatically "correct" for what our eyes see. Precise color proofing cannot be done with a PDF proof due to the variance in computer monitors and viewing conditions. If your file is color-critical, you should request a hard copy proof (free on your first order).
We use FedEx and UPS for shipping. Customer pickup and local delivery are also available. At the time of purchase, you can select the most economical/practical option depending on delivery coverage and the carrier's delivery charge.
Most jobs will be shipped within 3 business days after your proof approval. Shipping by FedEx takes from 1 to 4 business days to get to you depending on your location. Production and shipping should result in your printed product being in your hands in 5-9 days. To expedite your order you can purchase an upgrade to the printing schedule and/or purchase a faster shipping option. See our Turnaround & Shipping page.
Variable data printing, also referred to as personalization, is the technology used to print documents so that each piece has unique personal information for the recipient. Printing name and addresses on postcards is a very basic variable data print application. For real impact, your project could include other graphics and content that would be unique and meaningful to the recipient. Personalization can dramatically increase response.

The first level of coating is the coating on the paper itself. Four coated stocks that we offer are: Gloss coated paper, Matte coated paper, C2S (Coated 2 Sides), and C1S (Coated 1 Side). Gloss, Matte, C2S, and C1S papers are coated at the mill and are excellent for reproducing artwork with photos, fine detail, and vivid colors. Jobs printed on these papers can be UV coated as well.
In addition, we offer high-gloss UV coating for impact and durability. UV Coating (Ultra Violet light-cured coating) on the other hand is applied after the piece is printed and optionally addressed for mailing. This high-gloss coating is applied over the entire surface of your printed piece and makes the colors “POP”! UV coated jobs are also abrasion and chemical resistant, providing a protective barrier against wear and tear caused by mailing or excessive handling. Remember, you can't write or print on UV coated papers.
